Windows Home Server is currently at the Beta 2 stage. The beta for Windows Home Server has been opened to the public. You may have a better chance of getting in now, than previously. How can you apply to be a beta tester? Go to http://connect.microsoft.com/windowshomeserver and fill out the Survey.
NOTE: At this time, there is no support for the client software on x64 builds of Windows XP or Windows Vista.
